On a hill above the village, overlooking Lake Tekapo, is Alpine Vista Bed and Breakfast. Their modern facilities have three guest rooms, two double rooms with kingsize beds and a twin room, each with their own ensuite bathroom.

The spacious lounge has large windows providing panoramic views of the lake and the mountains beyond. Your hosts Peter and Jill Maxwell have lived and operated businesses in Tekapo for a number of years and can impart their knowledge of the area with their guests.
It is only a short walk to the main street of the village where a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes are located.

Alpine Cottage

Alpine Vista Bed and Breakfast also operate the neigbouring Alpine Cottage.

Located in Tekapo's Lakeview Heights, Alpine Cottage is a self contained, three bedroom cottage with natural timber interior, modern kitchen, lounge and laundry

The master bedroom, complete with ensuite, contains a king size bed. The second bedroom, a king sized bed and the third, two singles. Both share a bathroom and separate toilet

The cottage is orientated around self catering, but provisions for a continental breakfast can be provided by arrangement, for an additional fee . A minimum stay of two nights applies, although this may be negotiable for two or more couples.
